These are some of the websites that WebShireDesign have developed and vary from brochure style to websites incorporating ecommerce capability and many more features such as universal video playback to enable films and video clips to be played back on newer devices that do not support Flash.

We have used various technologies to create the following websites including (X)HTML, CSS3, Javascript & jQuery and PHP.

The Medical and Educational Aid to Kenya (MEAK) charity website includes features such as:

  • Configurable Google map locations showing destinations where MEAK have worked
  • Comprehensive photo gallery
  • Integrated video playback
  • Updateable news section

The MoveItOrLoseIt website has been designed for a more senior audience and accessibility options were at the forefront when creating this design.

  • Ecommerce site
  • Wordpress blog integration
  • Video playback
  • Client updateable news section

In addition to the above features the Move it or Lose it! website was optimised for certain relevant keyword searches (also known as search engine optimisation).

This site includes a Flash based interface to easily view and listen to the many music samples and video clips from the film composer's back cataogue.

This is the website for the classical crossover ensemble Fordante detailing concerts, music samples and information about the group. It is an example of a website built around Wordpress and enables the site to include a blog and the ability to purchase their CD album:

  • Wordpress blog integration
  • Ecommerce
  • Audio sample playback

This brochure style website contains a comprehensive selection of photos demonstrating previous building and lime plastering projects.

This site is an example where keyword targetting and search engine optimisation has proved very successful as can be read in this client's testimonial.

The Fortis Events website commissioned two videos specifically for use on the website - one plays immediately on reaching the site demonstrating the capabilities of the company and the other introduces the options available to the user of the website.

We are finding video is increasingly being used as an effective way of promoting a company's message.

Website features include:

  • Media interaction (support for non-Flash devices)
  • Photo gallery
  • Video playback

With the advent of many potential iPad users to the site it is important to make it accessible for these non-flash supported devices with a fallback to flash for those using older browser technologies.
